If you have placed an order with either a company or website that you now think is a scam then ACT NOW to protect yourself. This advice may help you limit any damage.
1. In the first instance, contact the site owners by email (their email address may appear on their website or in any automatic email that they have sent you).
The purpose of the email you send them is to ask them for tracking information for the items(s) you have purchased or at the very least to confirm that the order is on it's way to you. Ask then how long they think it will take for your items to arrive.
Be calm and polite with them, if you show any form of agression then they may simply not supply you with the goods.
If you have recieved a product that you believe to be fake then try contacting the owner of the site and explain that you believe that they have 'passed off' an inferior product as a genuine UGG products from the Decker Outdoor Corporation, and politely request a full refund.
2. Contact your bank or credit card company
If you believe that your card details may be used illegally then you need to contact your bank. There is a small chance that the company you are dealing with WILL take your credit card or bank details to make additional purchases without you knowing or pass on your details to a third party, contact your card company IMMEDIATELY, get your card stopped, a new one issued and make enquiries on how you can get your money back from the bank.
NOTE: You may have to wait 30 days after the date the money was taken before they will look at refunding you.
3. Contact the hosting company
I admit that I was scammed by this fraudulent group of companies, and felt that the ISP that hosts them needed to be aware of the problem, so I emailed them to let them know. The more people that do this, the more likely the web site will be removed so that others are not scammed in the same way!
Finding the contact details can be trick, but is worth trying:

Finding the contact details can be trick, but is worth trying:
- Use Web Hosting Hero to help find the relevant contact details. They are listed under "ISP". Google the ISP, find their contact details and tell them that they site they are hosting (provide then with the URL) may be selling fake Uggs.
- Click the "Who Is" link to find more information, this may even give you more contact details to try for the actual website.
- Also contact UGG Australia, they can't do anything about your card, money or items purchased, but they are always interested in knowing about fake Ugg sites. Their UK email address is [email protected].
